I almost ran over some morel mushrooms with the mower!  Instead, husband cut them up and had them with a steak.

If you haven’t made it over to my new blog you may not know that I have a new baby granddaughter now.  She was born on my 10th wedding anniversary, last Friday.  She’s perfect in every way!

My survivor tattoo got to grow this month.  I am celebrating 7 years cancer-free.  Yippee!   Intwined amongst the butterflies are little blue stars – each one representing my wedding anniversary.  This month is our 10 year, so now I have 10 twinkling stars.

When I stumbled upon this hermit crab it made me remember a time I vacationed with my grandparents along the gulf and brought home a bag of shells.  When we got home, I dumped the shells out on the porch to show my cousin and one started crawling away!  We both jumped screaming, lol.  Cut me some slack though, I was only 8 at the time.

Found these flowers on our trip. The warmth did follow us home, at least for a while. Now that I’m home I’m trying to finish up passing the torch. I had someone email while I was gone, hopefully she’s still interested, I have messaged her.

These sure didn’t turn out as good as I had hoped.  I guess that’s what I get for being too lazy to get out the big camera.  These are iPhone photos.  I wanted to share the wonderful ice and snow we got this week.  Winter is really hang onto us here in central Wisconsin.

The branches were full of ice, and ice dangled from the tire swing.  At one point a few days later the ice all spontaneously left the trees – it was very loud!
