On our way back to Flagstaff after the Grand Canyon visit we came upon this little chapel.
Isn’t it cute?! Picturesque with the mountains behind it.
Inside, everywhere you look are signature, wishes, prayers, and thanksgiving.
We were there the day after the huge tornado hit Joplin, so we put a prayer in the the box for our hometown.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky.
MM started on Sept 29, 2008 – THANX to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!

This is such a great idea! Jop;in is going through so much that it must be nice for the people there to know that other people care about them and their circumstances.

Sorry, my first link is wrong. Please delete #13. Love your little chapel story. Arizona is a beautiful place. I lived in Phoenix for three years. A very diverse state.

It seems to be great place to pray and especially that you may sign on the walls that you have been there.

Looks like such a cute little chapel and then people have to spoil it with their graffitis. There should be a box or something to put wishes in.

Wow .. well, as you know, I love to find interesting graffiti! You know, most people hate it, and it’s true that in many places, and in many cases, it’s ugly and intrusive. But here, it’s the very best kind of ‘graffiti’. The prayers and heartfelt wishes of the people – and in some cases simply their emotions, as in ‘Jack’n'Michelle’ – become part of the fabric of the little chapel. How much closer to the people can a church get?
Neat!
