Following a Gull

lc2204

lc2205

Sometimes it’s hard to get the full story with photos alone so I am adding in some words – since so many commentors are voicing their puzzlement. lolĀ  We are following the Gill’s path, he’s walking down the beach.

lc2206

He turns and looks back at us.

lc2207

Then he passes a form of foreign sealife (which turned out to be a grapefruit skin).

lc2208

He flies a little, and lands on a rock.

lc2209

Next to a Raven/Crow – how the heck do you tell tham apart?

These are elegant birds who get a bum rap. They are so tolerant of our trash and the other hungry dudes around them.

The gull looks… almost… artificial’s not the word I want, but definitely not what I’d expect him to look like up close. Remarkable textures in these photos!
