Great Egret Macro Monday

IMG_4102a

I was happy to get this close to the Great Egret but it wasn’t quite close enough.

IMG_4106a

This is better, but I wonder if we can get closer. . .

IMG_4097c

Well, yes we can. :) I like this I think better than if he was looking at me, it’s like we’re sneaking up on him.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter Weekend!

that last one kinda makes me want to scratch his head :) Great shots…good sneaking job! They either seem to flush so easily or like to see how close you can get. These are great!

I love the close up and how you can see all the little feathers sticking up. The bird shots that you’ve been posting have been amazing. I’m saving up for a good telephoto so I can get a little closer to the birds around me.

Great bird, the beek seems sharp and the eyes looks very intense
The second one is my favourite where you can see the light in between the beak and it looks like it has a small beard ;-)

I saw some egrets at the park today, but they were too far away and I don’t have the powerful zoom lens to photograph them Yours are simply awesome.
