I was happy to get this close to the Great Egret but it wasn’t quite close enough.
This is better, but I wonder if we can get closer. . .
Well, yes we can.
I like this I think better than if he was looking at me, it’s like we’re sneaking up on him.

I love the close up and how you can see all the little feathers sticking up. The bird shots that you’ve been posting have been amazing. I’m saving up for a good telephoto so I can get a little closer to the birds around me.
