Orange fingers Macro Monday

My garden is giving us treats already. :) The carrots are growing in a 5 gallon bucket and they needed thinned out a bit so. . .

Aren’t they just the cutest little fellows?!  They were the best tasting carrots I’ve ever had!

Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 – THANX to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!

We’ve also been enjoying some potatoes I grew in 5 gallon buckets.

Soon there will be more delights to gobble up, lol.

Fresh from the garden carrots are the best! Yours look fabulous! We got a late start, but ours should be ready to thin in a couple of weeks. Happy gardening!

I can hardly wait for our carrots to mature. Growing veggies in 5 gal buckets is a great idea, I know some people that plant in their recycle bins. The potatoes look so good, I’ll have to try your bucket method.

Our garden looks great, which is surprising since we’re in a drought. Didn’t plant carrots though… shoulda!

There is nothing like fresh from the garden … I wish I lived near you. I love carrots … eat them all of the time, and your pictures certainly did them justice :)

Garden produce is the greatest. And carrots are particularly wonderful in that they “wait” for you. If you are not ready to eat them, they don’t mind hanging out until the frost and beyond, I have found. How considerate!
