Macro Monday #119 ~ Railroad Spikes

DSCF1955
While exploring the ghost town of Nevada City in Montana I came upon several barrels full of old railroad spikes. There is something about rust that just calls to me, what can I say?

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year!

This is a cool macro. We love the railroad, and have to wonder what trains ever ran over those tracks.
Mr. Linky seems to be missing…

Love the rusty spikes, somewhere around here I have two or three that I have picked up over the years. The linky seems to be absent, I’ll check back later. In the meantime here’s my link: http://squirrelqueen2.blogspot.com/2011/01/1111-posted-at-1111-pm.html
