Macro Monday Episode 99

IMG_8664

I am really trying to soak up all the joy in flowers before the snow starts to fly again, and trust me it will seem way too soon for that blanket of white.

IMG_7743

With all the rain we’ve had this summer, if it were colder we would be buried, lol.

Next week, Monday August 23, will be the 100th Macro Monday post and I thought it might be fun to see if we could get 100 objects in the post. Granted they would have to be small objects to still be close but I’ll be giving it a shot and thought you might want to too. If you prefer not to, that’s ok. :0)

Update:  There’s been some question about the 100 thing, I wasn’t thinking 100 images, I was thinking 100 objects in one photo.  Make sense?  100 photos might be a wee bit overwhelming, lol.

Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. MM started on Sept 29, 2008 – Thanx to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week! :)

Two colourful macro shots and do love the water drops!
I can’t imagine producing 100 objects in one post – perhaps a
visit to a farmer’s market would solve that problem….

Beautiful as always…and 100 objects…that’s ambitious. I’m doing good to get one. My shot will be loaded at 9 am tomorrow. If you see it and I’m not linked up, would you mind grabbing it for me? I’ll be in training but will try to link up the moment I have a chance.

Raindrops look lovely on flowers, but not on me ! Here in England where I am for a week it also rains at least once per day ! Apparently in Belgium it’s not better. What about making a macro shot of flippers which will grow on us soon ?

Thanks for the inspiration and for getting me off my lazy ass LOL :D

xx Monica

PS: last night felt like fall already :( I so wished summer would stay around a little longer, but today again a grey and rainy day.

Rain has been in short supply here this summer, which I wouldn’t mind if the humidity was an indicator of that. But it’s been evil. So has the heat. You’re not going to see much growing like this around here… not this year. Love these!
