While out disc golfing my boys found a bunch of tiny frogs. They brought home about 20 of them in a water bottle. We emptied them into a shoe box so I could snap some photos, then we left them go.
A few got adventurous and tried to escape.

Love those little frogs. It reminds me of when I was a little girl, living in North Carolina. There was a stream/drainage ditch behind our house where we could catch tadpoles. And we did! And we brought them inside and watched them turn into tiny little frogs like these. Such fun. I’m amazed my mother allowed it, but they were in a fishbowl, so no harm done.

So cute and the markings are so distinct. For some crazy reason, I’m thinking they might be toads instead of frogs. We have the tiniest little toads that are not nearly as beautiful as these. Maybe some expert out there knows the difference.
