Macro Monday Mask

IMG_9856

There are so many beads and masks in New Orleans that it was hard to choose. I did finally get one to bring home. :0)

I’ve never been to New Orleans and this is much more ornate that I would expect one to be. A pleasant surprise. I think I’d have a hard time choosing one to bring home. I would certainly want one. :)

Impressive mask. I bought one while in New Orleans a few years ago, but mine wasn’t nearly as pretty as this one. Somehow it was broken during my last move.

An unusual and beautiful one, Lisa. Good choice. I hate when there are just so many great ones to choose from that it’s hard to choose. Not the worst problem to have, I guess.

Gorgeous piece. I love the patterns on the face.

I though it was from Venice. When I was in Venice, I loved the masks, but they were too huge to bring home.
