I’d love to know your aperture…I can’t decide if I should be shooting wide open or not. I’m going to look now for a macro to enter.

Wonderful shot. These are Bob’s favorite flowers, and they really don’t grow here, bummer.

Fantastic study of a macro tulip. Love the colors!

The tulips are so pretty, Lisa. I can still find fresh tulips here in the florists, they are imported from Holland. Due to our hot climate, the tulips can’t be grown here unless in a glasshouse environment.

Shallow depth of field in macro photographs has the potential to produce stunning results – as you have done in these pictures. thank you for sharing them with us. And what happened to “missing”? When I click on that post, it’s really MISSING!
And I would paint it a deep candy apple red – the white racing stripe would be the perfect adjunct.

such beautiful pictures. close ups bring a refreshing new perspective to the forefront. as for the missing post… i couldn’t comment because the link says it’s not there. hope you start feeling less out of sorts as the day passes. hope all is well.
