Shaking up Macro Monday

lc3293

Can you tell what this is?

lc3292

We found this cute salt and pepper shaker set a few years ago and I realized I had never shared. We don’t use them, but I think they’re so cute.

lc3291

No wonder we bought them, huh? But we’re not in Wisconsin right now, we’re traveling through the warmer weather of Florida – ah, sunshine, at least I hope the sun is shining. My husband is taking me swimming with the manatees for my birthday. :0)  I’m a wee bit excited! Since we’re traveling this post was prepared before we left, I sure hope it publishes without a hitch.

macro monday

Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. Don’t forget to visit each other. :)

Your title was a dead giveaway Lisa. Neat little (they look small) salt and pepper shakers. Hmm why not pepper and salt shakers? I like the grinders especially for pepper. Ah the aroma of fresh ground pepper!

I could tell it was a salt/pepper shaker in the opening shot, but not that it was such an elaborate one!

Hope you have a positively grand time with the manatees, and for your big day in general. Sorry I’ve been MIA for so long, but even though I try to take one day at a time, lately several days have attacked me at once.

Hope you are enjoying perfect weather, out of all the snow farther north. I love your little shakers. Someone went to all that trouble to craft them.

If that is a salt shaker, where is all the caked on salt around the holes? Or is that just at my house?
