Snowy Macro Monday

IMG_7822

We are destined to have 3-5 fresh inches of snow throughout the day Monday. Will this winter never end?

I absolutely love snow. . .just not past the middle of March.

fantastic macros Lisa… we are supposed to get 5-10 up here on Tuesday… and it was just starting to melt in rings around the trees. Oh well. Living in NH we expect the possibility of snow october through the end of april sometimes the first week of may.

I don’t blame you – even we had more snow last week in the south of England! Worth it for those amazing macros though – stunning.

You know, I have never even seen a snowflake like this. When I grew up on the East coast there was snow but the flakes just seemed like tiny gray dots. Maybe they had melted in the city air currents, or the pollution in the air made the difference, but your snowflake shot is a real revelation to me. Just like the drawings!

i know what you mean… i’m soooo ready for spring to arrive… we had a really warm/ partly sunny day Saturday followed by about 3 inches of snow yesterday and rain with thunder and lightning today… i’m guessing ~surely~ that yesterday’s snow will be the last… here’s to spring~

your snowflake is beautiful~

Those are great pics, but I’m with you on the snow thing. I was hoping to see our grass again by now, but it’s still covered by at least 3 feet of snow. It has been a long, snowy winter here as well.
