I love photos like this. I pretty much love photos of any church or cemetary. This is far more beautiful than anything I have seen before, though. The colors are so beautiful and vibrant. So beautiful.
Happy WW from Sara @ Mostly Wordless Wednesday HQ!
I love stained glass windows in church buildings in particular. My family name in Polish is on one at St Stan’s and I love to look at it. But my favorites are the very cubist and modern ones at my own church, Newman, where we celebrate at the St Joseph’s convent chapel. My favorite wedding photos are in front of them. Gorgeous! Enjoy the day! Erin
Exquisite! I grew up in a 100-year old house and guess what was centered in the wall as you came down the steps to the family room a glass-stained window! On sunny days, it was divine to look around the house. That brought back memories…

Someday I want to take a class on stained glass. Looks like it would be a cool hobby to learn.

Pixel is probably just jealous that it’s a dove and not a squirrel depicted in the glass (you know, the squirrel -traditional symbol of peace).

They definitely do. I marvel at the painters of this glass and their ability to see the light coming through as they painted. Amazing.
