Zephra Macro Monday

We’ve eaten an the Timeline Saloon (I gave you a link to check out, it’s a pretty neat spot) several times, but we finally decided to peek at their small zoo and there we met Zephra.  As soon as we walked up he came running.

MM3

Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 – THANX to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!

Thankfully, we did not experience any teeth. :)

Wow! He looks sweet from over here, but I’m still relieved to hear that he kept his teeth to himself :)

What a confusion ! First I thought you had eaten the camel in the restaurant, then I thought I was in the wrong picture because your zebra looked like a camel and a very friendly one, when I finally discovered that it is called Zephra !!! I must admit I just got up !

Or maybe just nibble you to death! That profile cracks me up–so obliging of Zephra to stay still for you to get this great macro. There’s a new baby giraffe at the Louisville Zoo–must get over there and try my luck.

Wow, that first shot is a good one! Yes, I’d heard that most of this particular animal family can be uncertain tempered, and when they bite, they bite hard.

Fascinating animals, though!

They can be quite deceiving as they are pretty quick to ‘bite’…great closeup.

Zephra is an ugly cutie! Are you sure Zephra is a boy? Zephra sounds like a female name – and she does have rather thick lashes :)
